SYLVAROS™ DRS 40 Disproportionated Rosin Soap
Supplied byKRATON- Last Updated on Jun 29, 2020
SYLVAROS™ DRS 40 Disproportionated Rosin Soap by KRATON is an emulsifier used in SBR polymerization. It is a catalytically disproportionated tall oil rosin potassium soap. It converts abietic acid into the more oxidation resistant dehdroabietic acid isomer. In SYLVAROS™ DRS 40 Disproportionated Rosin Soap, the low abietic acid content minimalizes interaction with the catalyst-initiator system and does not influence the polymer chain length of the SBR rubber.
