SYLVAROS™ DR 731D Disproportionated Rosin by KRATON is a rosin-based emulsifier used for polymerization. It is a pale, highly color stable resin with a rosin acid content of about 90%. It also functions as paper sizing agent. The proportions of the abietic and pimaric acid groups vary depending on the type of pine wood, as well as the sourcing location and the method of treating the rosin. SYLVAROS™ DR 731D Disproportionated Rosin finds application in rubber, esters and other rosin derivatives.
