Masteret™ 80450

Masteret™ 80450 by Italmatch Chemicals is a red phosphorus-based flame retardant. It is prepared by dispersing 50% red phosphorus in water. It is halogen-free and mainly used where molded final fireproofed articles with outstanding properties are needed, in particular areas where good mechanical properties together with very high electrical properties are required and where the natural red or black pigmentation are acceptable. Masteret™ 80450 is suitable for use in fire proofing organic polymers intended for high demanding applications. Main applications include electric installation systems, industrial switching units, household electrical equipment, automation technology and automotive, printed circuits boards, insulating and construction materials and furniture.
