Polytetramethylene ether glycol. Used as a building block in variety of elastomers such as polyurethanes, copolyesters and polyamides. It is a liquid to white, waxy solid that melts to a clear, colorless liquid over a wide temperature range near room temperature. Recommended for industrial belts, medical devices, wheels and tires, tanks and pipe linings, water valves, mining parts, automotive as well as aviation hoses and gaskets. Compliant with FDA approval for indirect food contact.
