IP1210 by Ingenia is an antistatic agent. It is a proprietary compound of high purity glycerol monostearate (GMS) in an LLDPE carrier resin. It as an internal additive to control resistivity on the film surface over an extended period of time, resulting in less static cling and dust contamination of the film.
- It exhibits excellent thermal stability and a long lasting reduction in the surface resistivity due to the controlled migration of the antistatic agent to the surface of the film.
- It is suitable for injection molding, blow molding, blown film-, cast film-, and sheet extrusion applications.
- It is used in the production of LDPE, HDPE and PP films.
- It contains no animal-based ingredients and has no dispersion aids, waxes or stearates.
- Recommended usage level of IP1210 is 1-2%.
- It may be used to meet the requirements of Title 21 of the U.S. FDA and CONEG.
