Polarite™ 403A by Imerys is a surface treated calcined kaolin. It is recommended for use with peroxide and other free radical crosslinking systems. It allows very good dispersion, hydrophobicity and interface affinity with elastomeric compounds. It is suitable for high voltage cable insulation based on ethylene propylene rubber and other elastomers applications where higher levels of reinforcement and mechanical performance are required. Polarite™ 403A is designed for use in wire & cable and ISO9001 certified.
