Omnivadd SP 5010 by IGM Resins is a low molecular weight wetting and dispersing additive for composites. It is suitable for use in filled sheet molding compounds, bulk molding compounds and filled gelcoats.
- It helps to wet and disperse extenders (CaCO3 and Al(OH)3) with unsaturated polyester resins or combinations with polystyrene, polyvinylacetate and styrene-butadiene copolymers.
- It reduces viscosity and dispersing/grinding time.
- It offers improved flow, better flame retardance and higher filler loading.
- The addition level of Omnivadd SP 5010 is 2.0-4.0% on extenders.
