Davis Color™ Red 160

Davis Color™ Red 160 by Huntsman is synthetic iron oxide extra light red. A blend of extra light-shade primary synthetic iron oxide reds (Fe2O3). Manufactured in large batches on intensive grinding and blending equipment. Meets or exceeds ASTM C979-82 standards for pigments used in cement. Exhibits color-stability in processing temperatures below 1000°C (1832°F). Recommended, owing to its sufficient purity, for use in packaging or articles that come in contact with food (21CFR), but not suitable for the direct coloration of pet food or cosmetics. Offers reliability and consistent quality, stability under exposure to sunlight and UV radiation, and alkali, chemical and weather resistancy. Davis Color™ Red 160 is used for plastics and rubber applications.
