HallGreen® IM-8830 by Hallstar is a plasticizer and processing aid. It is a partially renewable ester.
- It improves the impact resistance of bioplastics.
- It is compatible in many new biopolymers, such as PLA, plastarch material (PSM) and environmentally friendly polyesters.
- It possesses low volatility, high plasticizing efficiency, excellent resistance to polar fluids and very good low temperature flexibility and increased impact resistance.
- It reduces the melt viscosity, melt/mixing temperature, energy consumption and torque, increases the melt flow and the ease of processing.
- It helps sheet integrity for blown film applications.
- HallGreen® IM-8830 is used in film and sheeting for food packaging, food trays, general-purpose film, packaging and printable film.
