Dragonox -TBM6 by Guangzhou Flying Dragon is 4,4‘-thiobis( 2-tbutyl-5-methylphenol). Acts as antioxidant. It belongs to a thiobisphenol class with high-performance and non-staining. Has good synergistic effects if the product cooperates with dilauryl thiodipropionate (or distearyl thiodipropionate). Used for PE wire/cable compounds. Dragonox -TBM6 is especially used in crosslinked polyethylene and colophony resin. It is permitted to use in the plastic products contacting with food, as it has low toxicity.
