Plastaid T by Fine Organics is a multifunctional processing aid. Also acts as a
coupling agent between base polymer and filler materials. Exhibits higher impact properties in talc filled PP compounds.
- Offers reduced and more uniform mold shrinkage.
- Provides easier mold release in most systems and better surface appearance.
- Possesses more homogenous dispersions of TPO blends and highly filled systems.
- Plastaid T has lower viscosity and improved flow at processing temperatures.
- Used in filled PP/PE compounds based on talc, calcium carbonate, glass fibre etc, PE based color masterbatches, flame retarded compounds, highly filled TPE and TPO compounds, rubber modified polymer systems/elastomers, thermosetting molding powder, like PF molding powder and SMC / BMC compounds.
- Recommended usage level is 0.5-1.5% on total compound weight.
