ACCUREL® Si 792 by Evonik acts as an effective lubricant and mold release agent for polycarbonate. Its pre-dispersion in the porous carrier supports a homogeneous distribution in the finished product. It can be incorporated using gravimetric or volumetric dosing equipment or by physical blending with the base resin. Recommended dosage level is 0.2-0.4 % for excellent mold release and 1.5-2 % for a long-lasting lubricating effect. Complies with EU Regulation EC 10/2011, FDA 21 CFR 177.1580 and REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. It is listed with GB 9685-2016 for use in plastics with food contact. The shelf life of ACCUREL® Si 792 is 12 months.
