ACCUREL® Si 761 by Evonik acts as a slip/lubricating agent in PP applications. It supports the release of injection-molded parts. Its pre-dispersion in the porous carrier supports a homogeneous distribution in the finished product. It is incorporated in the skin layer of biaxially oriented polypropylene films and reduces the coefficient of friction (COF), even at elevated temperatures. It can be incorporated using gravimetric or volumetric dosing equipment or by physical blending with the base resin. Recommended dosage level is 0.3-0.5 % for mold release, 1-1.5 % for lubrication and 0.4-1.4 % in BOPP skin layer. Complies with EU Regulation EC 10/2011, FDA 21 CFR 177.1520 and REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. It is listed with GB 9685-2016 for use in paper, PE and rubber with food contact. Shelf life of ACCUREL® Si 761 is 12 months.
