DCC Yellow 7380

DCC Yellow 7380 by DCL Corporation is a high-performance mid-shade organic yellow benzimidazolone pigment for use in a broad range of high-end plastic applications. It is a new grade of PY.180, with increased strength, improved dispersibility in plastics leading to reduced pressure build during extrusion. It is DCB & heavy metal-free for diarylide and lead-free alternatives. Its lower screen pack pressure may allow for higher pigmentation level and less downtime to change filters, ultimately providing cost savings for customers due to less filament breakages in fiber applications and longer screen pack life. This pigment shows severe change in change in tint weather fastness. It shows very good resistance to ethyl acetate, MEK, mineral spirits, water, xylene, alkali and acid. DCC Yellow 7380 by DCL Corporation is used in polypropylene fibers, PVC wire & cables, film, blow molding and injection molding applications. It is in compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations, Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Indirect Food Additives.
