Rheoptima™ X24

Supplied byCroda- Last Updated on Mar 23, 2021

Rheoptima™ X24 by Croda is a rheology modifier. It is made by the reaction of functional amines and diacids terminated with various end groups. It is a vegetable derived polymer used to create clear, thermo-reversible gels of organics with low polarity. Designed for display electronics technology, 3D printing and advanced ceramics. It gels liquid by forming a 3D structure via hydrogen bonding between the amide groups and is compatible with low polarity liquids. Suitable for polymeric acrylic/ vinylic/ UV and non-polar solvent system. It can be used as a steric stabiliser for dispersions of particulates and allows lower viscosity as well as high solid loading. Rheoptima™ X24 complies with REACH regulation.
