Rheoptima™ LB54 is a multifunctional, anionic rheology modifier by Croda. It thickens at 2% and can can auto-emulsify up to 20% oil or silicone via hot or cold process. Designed for display electronics technology and advanced ceramics. Suitable for acidic and neutral aqueous systems as well as acrylic/ vinylic/ UV polymeric systems. It creates temperature stable & freeze-thaw stable formulations, and can be used in cold or hot processes. It is pseudoplastic with shear thinning rheology. Rheoptima™ LB54 is recommended at a dosage rate of 0.5-2 % and complies with REACH regulation.
