Supplied byCovia- Last Updated on Nov 25, 2024

MINBLOC® HC2000 by Covia is an all-natural, nepheline syenite-based anti-block additive, pigment dispersant and filler. It is recommended for clear or opaque films with thickness greater than 4 mil. It is chemically inert, non-absorptive and doesn't interfere with other polymer additives. It optimizes the performance of slip, antioxidants, stabilizers, colorants and other processing aids. It is used in food and beverage packaging, medical packaging and technical films.
  • It provides superior clarity, gloss and lower haze values in packaging grade flexible films without diminishing critical optical, structural and mechanical properties.
  • It is suitable for masterbatch compounding or direct additions to film grade resin systems.
  • It is easier to handle & disperse and allows for higher masterbatch loadings.
  • It offers reduced energy cost and enhanced thermicity in plastic agricultural greenhouse films.
  • MINBLOC® HC2000 is included on Japan's Positive List and complies with EU Plastic Regulation No. 10/2011, RoHS, Kosher, CONEG and OSHA’s respiratory crystalline silica (RCS) standards.
  • It is NHC (China) and FDA approved for indirect food-contact applications.
  • The recommended dosage level is up to 50% by weight of the polymer.
  • It does not contain free crystalline silica and does not require silica-related labeling.
