STERLING® SO-RC110 by Cabot is a semi-reinforcing circular carbon containing 10% recovered carbon material. It is particularly suited for rubber applications. It is based on Cabot’s co-pelletization technology that combines ISCC PLUS certified recovered carbon material with STERLING SO to deliver physical performance that is equivalent to ASTM N550 carbon black.
- It maintains high levels of quality, consistency and processability in rubber compounds, making it suitable for applications that require higher sustainable content without compromising rubber performance.
- STERLING® SO-RC110 is used in sidewalls & under tread compounds in passenger car and light truck tires as well as extruded rubber articles like hoses & construction profiles, engine mounts and belt inner layers molded rubber parts.
