Irgastab® Cable KV10 by BASF is a high performance, primary (phenolic) antioxidant and heat stabilizer for polyethylene-based wire and cable applications. It provides high efficient processing and long-term heat aging stability combined with excellent system compatibility. This sulphur-containing grade performs highest scorch resistance and simultaneously has low impact on crosslinking efficiency. Irgastab® Cable KV10 is highly effective at low levels and can be used alone without costabilizers. Recommended usage levels range between 0.05% and 0.3%.
