ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ TM

ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ TM by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) acts as a foaming agent. It is a combination of exothermic and endothermic agent. Under thermal degradation, it causes gas to evolve which then forms a foamed structure in the polymer matrix. Offers density reduction, enhanced production control, improved surface finish & cleaner and healthier processing. Also provides cost-, energy- & waste savings. It is suitable for use in extruded vinyl (PVC) trim and siding products for protecting and enhancing building exteriors in construction applications. ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ TM usage rate is typically 0.5-1.5% depending on the density requirement.
