ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ S-Plus

ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ S-Plus by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) acts as a foaming agent. It is a combination of exothermic and endothermic agent. Under thermal degradation, it causes gas to evolve which then forms a foamed structure in the polymer matrix. Offers density reduction, enhanced production control, improved surface finish & cleaner and healthier processing. Also provides cost, energy & waste savings. ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ S-Plus is designed for extruded vinyl (PVC) thick sheet applications such as panels and partitions in construction applications. Usage rate is typically 0.5-1.5% depending on the density requirement.
