ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ PF-1

ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ PF-1 by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) acts as a foaming agent. It is a combination of exothermic and endothermic agent. Under thermal degradation, it causes gas to evolve which then forms a foamed structure in the polymer matrix. Offers density reduction, enhanced production control, improved surface finish & cleaner and healthier processing. Also offers cost-, energy- & waste savings. It is suitable for use in extruded vinyl (PVC) profiles and decorative molding in construction applications. ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ PF-1 has recommended use level 0.2-1.2% depending on the polymer, application and density requirement.
