ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ Foam PP

ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ Foam PP by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is an endothermic chemical foaming agent, which causes gas to evolve under thermal decomposition. It is suitable for injection molding applications. It provides better, large cells with lower cell density. It is utilized for weight reduction, sink mark removal or dimensional stability. It provides greater uniformity of foaming and shot-to-shot consistency, offering wider product processing window. It offers smooth surface, high concentration of active CFA and improved distribution of CFA into polymer matrix. It is engineered for wide range of polymers including PP, PE, PVC and polystyrene. It is suitable for cell nucleation in structural foam processing. ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ Foam PP is used at 0.12-0.5% concentration and allows food contact.
