ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ DK

ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ DK by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) acts as a foaming agent. It is a combination of exothermic- and endothermic agent. Under thermal degradation, it causes gas to evolve which then forms a foamed structure in the polymer matrix. Offers density reduction, enhanced production control, improved surface finish & cleaner and healthier processing. Also offers cost-, energy- & waste savings. It is used for extruded vinyl (PVC) low maintenance, weather-resistant decking in construction applications. ColorMatrix™ Excelite™ DK usage rate is typically 0.5-1.5% depending on the density requirement.
