CESA™ IR PP94000706 by Avient (Formerly PolyOne) is a polypropylene (PP) grade. It is a highly loaded masterbatch that replaces carbon black to make black packaging detectable during the recycling process. Designed for use in agricultural and other thermal films. The dark colored plastics are visible to the near-infrared (NIR) sensors used in automated polymer sorting systems. Exhibits very good processability, high coloration strength and dispersion quality. It allows the penetration of short-wave IR radiation coming from solar rays and prevents the emission of longer-wave IR radiation. It also allows greenhouses to maintain an adequate temperature, even at night. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. CESA™ IR PP94000706 maintains transparency, increases heat retention and supports plant growth.
