Repela™ Combi

Repela™ Combi by Aversion Technologies is a masterbatch that combines powerful deterrents that effectively protect from chewing compounded materials, such as electric and fiber optic cables, plastic pipes, foam insulation, and many other materials. Repela™ Combi joins together the deterrents found in Repela for Rodents™ and Repela for Insects™ to offer protection from both. Its active ingredient (= 10%) is incorporated in ethylene vinyl acetate (=90%) and pelletized. It can be simply added in the required quantity to the resin and extruded by the normal method with no change in the process parameters. Its applications include blow molding, extruded wires, extruded tubes, injection molding, rotational molding, cables and pipes. Recommended dosage rate for insects is 1-3% and for rodents is 3-5%.
