XIBOND™ 125 by aurorium is a styrene and maleic anhydride random copolymer. Acts as a coupling agent, compatibilizer, adhesion promoter and viscosity modifier. Compatibilizer optimizes the interfacial tension and morphology against high stresses. As a coupling agent, it provides low viscosity, improved creep and tensile properties. The viscosity modification lowers the molding temperature and provides a better surface appearance. It is designed to improve the blend morphology of specific polymer blends. It is compatible with high-impact polystyrene (HIPS) resins. It is recommended to use twin screw extruders with a mild screw configuration and vacuum degassing facility for good dispersion in styrenic polymer. XIBOND™ 125 recommended dosage level is 1-5 %.
