Clearstrength® E-920 by Arkema is a methylmethacrylate-butadiene-styrene (MBS) core-shell impact modifier for engineering resins. It offers good impact resistance even at low temperature, excellent ambient and low temperature toughness, ease of processing, good thermal stability and good balance of physical properties such as good dispersion to engineering polymers. It allows to create products
that can withstand impact at < -40°C and still remain ductile.
- It provides maximum impact to polycarbonate, polyesters and a variety of polycarbonate blends particularly PC/ABS.
- It is used in automotive applications, electrical & electronic components.
- It permits low-temperature impact retention of low-viscosity resins while minimizing its influence on other physical and mechanical properties.
- It is designed for use with conventional compounding techniques.
- Recommended use level of Clearstrength® E-920 is 5 to 15%.
