Mansil® 190

Mansil® 190 by Akrochem is a white, spray-dried, precipitated silica. It acts as a semi-reinforcing filler for synthetic- and natural rubber compounding. It offers faster incorporation time and less viscosity build-up while maintaining a good dispersion. It is used as a primary filler or in combination with carbon black for mechanical rubber goods. It enhances hardness, tensile strength, abrasion- and tear resistance. Mansil® 190 improves rolling resistance, flex fatigue and traction in tire applications. It provides green strength and translucence in the formation of shoe sole compounds. Recommended level for preparing lightly loaded compounds is 5-20 phr and oil extended compound is 75-100 phr.
