Mansil® 175 by Akrochem is a white, spray-dried, precipitated silica. It is a medium-low surface area, reinforcing filler suitable for synthetic- and natural rubber compounding.
- It imparts hardness, tensile strength, abrasion- and tear resistance.
- It can be used in combination with carbon black for mechanical rubber.
- It improves rolling resistance, flex fatigue, and traction in tire applications.
- Mansil® 175 provides green strength and translucence in the formation of shoe sole compounds.
- The recommended level for preparing lightly loaded compounds is 5-20 phr and the oil extended compound is 75-100 phr.
