AKPEROX BU50 by AKPA Kimya is 2,2-Di-(tert-butylperoxy)-butane. It acts as an initiator. It is recommended for the copolymerization of styrene, vinyl acetate, acrylates and methacrylates at a temperature range of 100-140°C. It can be combined with other peroxides for high pressure polymerization of ethylene at a temperature range of 200-250°C. The shelf life of AKPEROX BU50 is 6 months. It complies with REACH regulation EC No 1907/2006, regulation EC No 1272/2008 and commission regulation EU No 2015/830.
