Alvinox 100

Alvinox 100 by 3V Sigma is a sterically hindered phenolic anti-oxidant. It reacts efficiently with peroxy radicals and slows down the chain reaction process that facilitates thermal oxidation. Exhibits long term heat stabilization, low volatility, good dielectric properties and very low extractability. It shows good compatibility and synergism with broad range of additives. Recommended for polymers used in water pipelines, electric- and telecommunication cables. Meets FDA 177.1500. Alvinox 100 is added at 0.1-0.3% in polypropylene (PP) films and tapes, 0.025-0.10% in low density polyethylene (LDPE) and 0.2-0.4% in high density polyethylene (HDPE).
