3N® MgH-2500T by 3N International acts as a flame retardant. It is non-halogenated. It is environmentally friendly since no toxic or corrosive gases are generated during its decomposition process. It has excellent thermal stability of up to 340°C. Can be used in those cases where aluminum hydroxide is not sufficiently stable. It is grinded from high purity mineral ore and has a big cost advantage to precipitated magnesium hydroxide. Can be used in plastics, rubbers. 3N® MgH-2500T is recommended for fibers, thermoplastic olefin roofing materials, wire and cable.
