d2w
by Symphony Environmental
d2w by Symphony Environmental is an oxo-degradant masterbatch. It is designed to control and shorten the life of normal plastic products and packaging. It converts ordinary plastic at the end of its useful life into a material with a completely different molecular structure. At that stage it is no longer a plastic but has become a material which can be bio-assimilated in the environment in the same way as a leaf and the product eventually becomes carbon-dioxide, water and biomass. It is compatible with PE, PP and PS. It works with virgin and recycled plastic. d2w addition rate is 1%. It successfully certifies with British standard 8472, US standard ASTM D6954, United Arab Emirates standard 5009:2009 and French Accord AFNOR T51-808.

Evanesto®
by Carbios
Evanesto® by Carbios is an enzymated masterbatch that makes plant-based plastic compostable. It is innovative and eco-responsible alternative that allows to reach zero waste. Plastics containing it are assimilated to bio-waste and transformed into compost in less than 200 days. It is suitable for processing by methods such as extrusion, injection molding, calendaring or thermoforming. It is activated under composting conditions (humidity above 55%, temperature around 28°C, pH around 9).
- It also facilitates and accelerates industrial composting and generates biogas in mechanization.
- It reduces greenhouse gas emission and allows non-toxic biodegradation.
- It is added at a rate of 2-5% to a compound with a high PLA level during traditional plastic transformation processes.
- This additive is suitable for the production of all items containing PLA, particularly intended for single-use applications.
- It is used in packaging, flexible films, disposable tableware, fruits and vegetable bags, pods, routing films, soft welding films and mulching films.
- It is recommended dosage level is 5-10% for effective results.
- It meets the requirements of materials suitable for food contact, in accordance with regulations No. 1935/2004 and No. 10/2011.
- Evanesto® has shelf life of 1 year.

BioLife 8 Bio C - 1001
by Welset
BioLife 8 Bio C - 1001 by Welset acts as a biodegradant additive. It is easy to process along with polyolefins on any conventional plastic processing machine. It makes plastic products bio-compostable. It performs at low temperature and does not affect color and physical properties. It is capable of converting petrochemical-based plastics into soil-like dust and, most importantly, while not affecting the quality of the soil. It is used in single-use films for carry bags and packaging, cutlery and disposable products. BioLife 8 Bio C - 1001 is food contact compliance. The recommended dosage level is 6-10%.
EcoPure®
by Bio-Tec Environmental
EcoPure® by Bio-Tec Environmental is a blend of organic ingredients used as an additive in plastic applications. In treated products, it allows plastic to biodegrade through a series of chemical and biological processes in a landfill disposal and marine environment. It allows microbes to create a biofilm that coats the plastic and further break down the chemical bonds of polymer chains at an accelerated rate.
- It is more effective than compostable and oxo-degradable plastic waste solutions.
- It does not impact the integrity, quality, strength, durability, shelf life or other desirable properties of plastics.
- It requires no retooling of existing manufacturing equipment or processes, making it easy to implement.
- EcoPure® is suitable for EVA, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, GPPS, PA, PP, HIPS, PET, PETG, PC and PVC.
- The typical dosage level is less than 1% and the recommended dosage level is 0.7-4% by weight, depending on the product application.
