Zelfo Technology, founded in 2011 and headquartered in Brandenburg, Germany, is a natural fiber engineering company specializing in the processing of lignocellulosic and cellulosic materials. Using a proprietary patented mechanical process, the company produces highly fibrillated macro, micro, and nano cellulose fibers that act as bio-based binders, reinforcements, and composite components without additional binding agents. Zelfo® HG

Zelfo® HG by Zelfo Technology is a cellulose fiber. It is an economic, bio based, adaptable and sustainable alternative to wood, plastics and other materials. Offers a variety of design attributes for different applications with flat, smooth, textured, or mottled surface; through-body or surface treated, unfinished, matte or glossy finish; and natural (surface treated or through-body) color; both neutral and vibrant tones are possible. Possesses low density, heat and sound insulation as well as some structural properties. The hydrophilic nature of Zelfo may be modulated, in accordance with application requirements, via the incorporation of internal and/or surface sealants. Zelfo® HG by Zelfo Technology is used in consumer products, packaging, interior design and construction include housings, furniture, flooring, paneling.
