MFE® 707A by Sino Polymer is a flame retardant, brominated bisphenol-A epoxy vinyl ester resin. Provides good toughness & excellent acid-, alkali-, bleach-, organic compound-, corrosion- and chemical resistance. Can be processed by filament winding, hand lay-up, spray-up, pultrusion and resin transfer molding. Suitable for handling mixtures of air and hot gases of potentially flammable liquids, building panels and flooring compounds where ignition-inhibiting properties are required. Recommended for FRP (fiber reinforced plastics) ductwork, stacks and stack liner applications. It was formerly known as MFE-7. Resists mechanical and chemical damage to enable use in various caustic environments such as sodium hypochlorite, chlorine dioxide and alkaline hydrogen peroxide. MFE® 707A has a shelf life of 4 months at 25°C. Meets with ASTM E84 Flame Spread rating Class I (FSI=20).
MERICAN® 9406 by Sino Polymer is a waterproof, iso-type, unsaturated polyester resin. Possesses good mechanical strength and high tensile elongation. It can be cured using 1.5% Butanox M-50(AKZO Nobel) and 1.0% CoNap (0.8% Cobalt). Offers good oil-, heat- and temperature resistance. Suitable for processing by filament winding, pultrusion, spray-up and hand lay-up. Recommended for fishing boat, marine/yacht, life boat, glass fiber & carbon fiber reinforced plastic products, tanks and pipes. MERICAN® 9406 has a shelf life of 6 months at temperature <25°C. Conforms to Lloyd's approval and FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.2420.
MFE® 770 by Sino Polymer is a flame retardant, brominated, novolac-based, epoxy vinyl ester resin. Possesses good mechanical properties at higher temperature and a standard catalyst system. Exhibits better heat-, high temperature-, solvent- and chemical resistance. Offers good wettability & processability, good retention of strength and toughness at elevated temperatures. Provides excellent resistance to acidic oxidizing environments. MFE® 770 is a second generation of MFE W1 (W2-1) and can be catalyzed with cumene hydroperoxide (CHP). Suitable for processing by hand lay-up, spray-up, infusion (RTM), filament winding and pultrusion. Designed for use in heavy duty industrial applications, FGD processes, industrial waste treatment facilities, mental pickling and solvent extraction process used in mining. It has a shelf life of 6 months at 25°C.
