EC-440 by SikaAxson is a high temperature, two-component, unfilled epoxy system. It consists of two components resin and hardener. Offers excellent physical properties while maintaining a lower cost. It is suitable for processing by resin transfer molding (RTM), compression molding and reaction injection molding (RIM). EC-440 is recommended for use in prototype or low volume production mast cast tooling applications.
AC 2310 by SikaAxson is a two component, low viscosity, epoxy surface casting system. It consists of three components resin, fast hardener and slow hardener. Exhibits exceptional wear resistance, room temperature cure and longer tool life. Offers lower cost, elimination of costly benchwork or cast metal tools and faster design changes. It is suitable for processing by resin transfer molding. AC 2310 is recommended for metal stretch forming tools, drop hammer dies, hydroforming dies and mold applications.
EC-433 by SikaAxson is an aluminium filled, heat resistant epoxy casting systems. It consists of four components resin, fast hardener, medium hardener and slow hardener. Exhibits good dimensional stability, easy mixing and accepts higher loading of bulk aluminium. Post cure temperature is 150°F (66°C), continuous temperature is 300°F (160°C) and intermittent temperature is 350°F (177°C). It is suitable for processing by compression molding, prototype injection molding, reaction injection molding (RIM) and foam molding. EC-433 is suitable for vacuum forming and other high temperature cast tooling applications.
