VLF 82109 by RTP Company is a long glass fiber reinforced polyetherimide (PEI). Offers high strength and rigidity at elevated temperatures, long term heat resistance, dimensional stability and good electrical properties which show excellent stability under variable temperature, humidity and frequency conditions. It has outstanding dimensional stability and inherent flame retardancy. VLF 82109 by RTP Company resists chemicals, such as hydrocarbons, alcohols and halogenated solvents. Creep resistance over the long term allows PEI to replace metal and other materials in many structural applications. Processed by injection molding. Can be used for automotive applications like instrumental panels, sunroofs, seating, airbag retainers, door systems, fuel systems, pedal boxes, sensor housing, front end modules, drivetrain and shifter bases. VLF 80105 CC by RTP Company is a chemically coupled, light weighted polypropylene (PP) grade, reinforced with 30% long glass fiber. Exhibits high toughness, excellent chemical-, heat- and warpage resistance and easy processing. Possesses good tensile and flexural strength, rigidity, dimensional stability and good mechanical properties. Designed for injection molding process. Recommended for manufacture of easy MOB® wheelchair wheels. VLF 80105 CC complies with UL 94 HB Flame Rating. VLF 80107 CC by RTP Company is a chemically coupled polypropylene (PP) grade reinforced with 40% very long glass fiber. It is made using a proprietary pultrusion process to create 11 mm long pellets. It is a replacement of welded metal assemblies, machined parts, or die castings because it is a lightweight and functional alternative to steel assemblies or die cast aluminum, magnesium and zinc. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Provides improved impact & creep resistance, good strength, stiffness and dimensional stability. VLF 80107 CC can withstand extreme environments and be colored to eliminate secondary processing and enhance aesthetics. VLF 80209 EM HS by RTP Company is a heat stabilized, easy molding Nylon 6/6 (PA 6/6) grade reinforced with 50% very long glass fiber. It can withstand extreme environments and be colored to eliminate secondary processing and enhance aesthetics. VLF 82309 A is suitable for agricultural & irrigation components, recreation & automotive equipments, electrical connectors, electronics, safe & effective medical devices, pump & tool housings, HVAC base pans & fan blades, panels, handles, brackets, components used in heavy equipment, plumbing fittings, valve bodies, gears for conveyor drives and power tools. VLF 84007 by RTP Company is a heat stabilized, semi-crystalline, aromatic polyphthalamide (PPA) grade reinforced with long glass fiber. It is cost effective, stronger, stiffer and has higher thermal capabilities than nylon 6/6. Exhibits relatively low moisture absorption and resistance to infrared soldering environment. Provides chemical-, fatigue and creep resistance. Can be processed using injection molding. VLF 84007 by RTP Company is recommended for marine & industrial cleats, soil sampler, golf club head, gas cylinder hooks, copier bushings and brake rotor measuring probes. VLF 81009 is a crystalline, high molecular weight polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) grade reinforced with 50 % long glass fiber. Exhibits low water absorption, good moldability & strength, rapid crystallization, good dimensional stability, high heat resistance, good chemical resistance & resistance to oxidation in hot air, short mold cycle and good electrical properties. Can be processed using injection molding. Recommended for pump & tool housings, HVAC base pans & fan blades, panels, handles, brackets, components used in heavy equipment, plumbing fittings, valve bodies, and gears for conveyor drives & power tools. VLF 81307 is a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin reinforced with 40% long glass fiber. It is of low viscosity. Offers excellent chemical resistance, high temperature resistance, high modulus, flowability, dimensional stability and electrical characteristics. It is processed by injection molding. Recommended for material handling pallets, control housings for pumps, motors, and test equipment, HVAC drain pans, plenum space covers, vents, and parts that must meet UL 2043. Can also be used for automotive applications like instrumental panels, sunroofs, seating, airbag retainers, door systems, fuel systems, pedal boxes, sensor housing, front end modules, drivetrain and shifter bases.
