RTP 201 FR UV is an UV-stabilized polyamide 6-6 (Nylon 6-6) with flame retardant and reinforced with 10% glass fiber. Exhibits excellent processing characteristics and optimal balance of electrical and ignition resistance. Enables strength, ductility, stiffness, heat resistance, chemical resistance to hydrocarbons, wear resistance and lubricity. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Applications include complex, thin walled components to large thick walled housings and metal replacement. Also used in automotive (seat handles), pumps, motors & test equipment, HVAC drain pans, vents and electrostatic painting, electrical & electronic connectors applications.
