PVA 0499 by Liwei chemical (Sinochem) is partially hydrolyzed, odorless, nontoxic, polyvinyl alcohol high polymer grade. Exhibits resistance to oil, grease & solvent, excellent film forming, emulsifying and adhesive properties. Possesses high tensile strength & flexibility, as well as high oxygen and aroma barrier properties that are dependent on humidity. It is fully degradable and dissolves quickly. PVA 0499 is recommended for eye drops and hard contact lens solution as a lubricant, sizing textiles, bonding agent, packing material of food, building paint, emulsifying agent.
