PVA 0499 by Liwei chemical (Sinochem) is partially hydrolyzed, odorless, nontoxic, polyvinyl alcohol high polymer grade. Exhibits resistance to oil, grease & solvent, excellent film forming, emulsifying and adhesive properties. Possesses high tensile strength & flexibility, as well as high oxygen and aroma barrier properties that are dependent on humidity. It is fully degradable and dissolves quickly. PVA 0499 is recommended for eye drops and hard contact lens solution as a lubricant, sizing textiles, bonding agent, packing material of food, building paint, emulsifying agent. PVA 2488 by Liwei chemical (Sinochem) is a fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) grade. It is a high polymer grade and is soluble in water while insoluble in organic solvent and acids. Exhibits good stability, excellent film-forming property, oil- and chemical resistance. It can react with formaldehydes to form polyvinyl acetal. PVA 2488 is recommended for raw materials of vinylon fibers, construction, textile and fabric finishing agents.
PVA 0588 by Liwei chemical (Sinochem) is a non-toxic polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) grade. It is a non-ionic, linear and high polymer grade. It is soluble in water while insoluble in organic solvent and organic acids. Exhibits excellent film-forming property, good stability, oil- and chemical resistance. It can react with formaldehydes to form polyvinyl acetal. PVA 0588 is suitable for use with water-soluble polymers, plastics and rubber.
