Produced by cationic polymerization of trioxane. Exhibits negligible change of impact strength at temperatures between - 40°C and 110°C as well as high stiffness and mechanical strength. Shows high fatigue endurance, lack of influence of air humidity on mechanical properties and excellent dimensional stability. Offers resistance to most organic solvents, bases & acids of pH > 4, high hardness and abrasion resistance. Provides low friction coefficient in connections involving typical materials and high resistance to warping (even at high temperatures). Imparts outstanding electrical & electroconductive properties and dielectric properties (virtually unaffected by changes of ambient temperature and humidity).
