Tarnoform® 300 GB2 commercialized by Grupa Azoty is a high quality POM (polyoxymethylene)/ acetal copolymer grade filled with 10% glass beads present as natural/ black colored granules. Produced by cationic polymerization of trioxane. Exhibits negligible change of impact strength at temperatures between - 40°C and 110°C as well as high stiffness and mechanical strength. Shows high fatigue endurance, lack of influence of air humidity on mechanical properties and excellent dimensional stability. Offers resistance to most organic solvents, bases & acids of pH > 4, high hardness & rigidity and abrasion resistance. Provides low friction coefficient in connections involving typical materials and reduced warping. Imparts outstanding electrical & electroconductive properties and dielectric properties (virtually unaffected by changes of ambient temperature and humidity). Also exhibits high resistance to water, bacteria, fungi and insects (for applications requiring resistance to prolonged exposure). Suitable for automotive, building construction and electrical & electronical. Tarnoform® 300 GB2 commercialized by Grupa Azoty can be processed using injection molding.
