TROGAMID® R by Evonik is a transparent polyamide grade. It is produced by recycling standard production scrap from eyewear manufacturers. TROGAMID® R is processed by Poliplastic SRL, an innovative polymer recycler, which obtains scrap production-shards through a unique circular-economy partnership with manufacturers of high-quality optical non-prescription sunglass lenses. TROGAMID® HT by Evonik is a highly transparent polyamide (PA) with a high glass transition temperature. It combines a relatively high heat deflection temperature with good mechanical properties and low water uptake. Exhibits high heat resistance, outstanding dimensional stability, excellent chemical resistance, high static and dynamic load capacity. Offers wear resistance, high impact-, good weathering and scratch resistance. Due to its high softening temperature and excellent ductility, TROGAMID® HT has proven useful as an impact-resistance modifier for epoxy resins in composite applications in the aviation industry. It is ideally suited for high-end ATEX applications in the higher temperature range. It is recommended for electrical, mechanical engineering, automotive and sanitation industries. TROGAMID® CX9704 by Evonik is a high performance, crystal clear, permanently transparent polyamide which is made with aliphatic monomers (cycloaliphatic diamine and dodecanedioic acid). Possesses microcrystallinity, low viscosity, very low isotropic shrinkage, low water absorption, high level of UV resistance and dynamic strength, high transmission, excellent optical properties, high dimensional stability, very balanced mechanical property profile, high impact resistance even at low temperatures and high glass transition temperatures. Offers chemical-, abrasion-, scratch- and stress cracking resistance. Exhibits rigidity and high heat resistance. TROGAMID® CX9704 is suitable for processing by injection molding. Mostly used in the manufacturing of spectacle frames as it offers durability, robustness and flexibility to them. Also used in automotive industry, machinery and engineering, medical technology, glasses production, sports and recreation industry. Complies with EU Directive 2002/72/EC and DVGW(KTW- drinking water contact). TROGAMID® eCO Impact 75 by Evonik is a high clarity, high-performance, sustainable polyamide polymer. It offers high strength and optical transparency of 88%. It exhibits excellent chemical-, crack- and break resistance. It is produced using a mass-balanced approach that reduces the use of fossil raw materials by 30%. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;">

Provides microcrystallinity, ultra low weight, excellent optical properties and high mechanical strength.<br>

It contains an internal mold release agent. Exhibits high transparency, high light transmission, high mechanical strength and high heat deflection temperature. Offers good chemical resistance, good electrical properties and low processing shrinkage. TROGAMID® T5002 is suitable for processing by injection molding, extrusion and blow molding. TROGAMID® TX7389 by Evonik is a permanently transparent polyamide (PA 6-3-T) grade. It contains an internal mold release agent. Exhibits better flow and mold-release behavior. Offers high light transmission, high mechanical strength and high heat deflection temperature. Also offers good chemical resistance, good electrical properties and low processing shrinkage. TROGAMID® TX7389 is suitable for processing by injection molding, extrusion and blow molding. TROGAMID® RS6121 is a highly transparent polyamide. Shows resistance to chemicals, static and dynamic durability, abrasion resistance, high impact resistance, good weather resistance and scratch resistance suited for applications with higher temperature requirements. Components made from it can be steam-sterilized at 134 °C and 2 bar without any impact on mechanical properties. Alternative sterilization methods rely on gamma radiation or ethylene oxide. It is approximately 20% less dense than Polysufones. With reduced water absorption of below two percent, the glass transition temperature does not fall below 134 °C, even when saturated. Recommended for application in medical technology, optics, electrical industry, automotive and mechanical engineering.
