Bluesil™ RTV 3724 A&B by Elkem Silicones is a two-component silicone elastomer which cures at room temperature by a polyaddition reaction (1:1 ratio). It can be applied onto horizontal as well as vertical surfaces thanks to its thixotropic behavior, can be processed via spraying, brushing and casting to obtain a silicone film.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It is specifically developed to produce high performance re-usable silicone bag on molds used for the processing of composites applying the "vacuum resin infusion" technology.</li> <li> It offers excellent mechanical properties, low viscosity (easy sprayable) with thixotropic behavior and shear thinning. </li>It provides easy remoldablility for fast production process, high chemical resistance against epoxy resins and high chemical resistance against polyester resin.</li> <li> It also offers long recoat time, high inhibition resistance and no release of toxic substances during and after curing.</li> <li> Bluesil™ RTV 3724 A&B has a shelf life of 12 months.</li></ul>

It exhibits good fire resistance and low thermal conductivity (high insulation properties). It shows a fast cure at elevated temperature, long bath life at room temperature (>16 hrs) and high bond strength without primer. Bluesil™ TCS 7550 A/B is specially engineered for industrial and high-performance textile coatings for example thermal insulation applications. It is also used in bonding coated and uncoated fabrics. It has a shelf life of 12 months.

This product provides good heat stability in confined space (even above 100°C) and outstanding protection of encapsulated equipment against mechanical stress due to temperature variations and vibrations. It is recommended for applications where a self-bleeding effect is prohibited. BLUESIL™ ESA 6025 A/B is suitable for encapsulation of electronic components for the automotive & power electronics industries, damping systems and encapsulation of solar cells.
