DYNA-PURGE® D2 by Dyna-Purge is the most versatile and innovative commercial purging compound to scrub, clean and remove contamination effectively, without leaving a residue. A proprietary component is formulated to flow to the boundary layers to flush out the resident resin, while other acts as a pressurizing agent allowing for the purge to reach stagnation points. In addition, an encapsulated fine targets degraded material adhering to the surface. This dynamic “triple action” innovation thoroughly cleans and removes material from the screw and barrel as well as the tool or die. Offers low odor formulation, thoroughly loosens and eliminates carbonized and degraded materials, safe, non-hazardous, non-chemical ingredients that are FDA (food and drug administration) compliant, heat stable- recommended during shutdown & start-up, low “cost-per-purge”- only a small quantity needed to be effective, easy to use- no processing adjustments or mixing required , unlimited shelf life and less “sticky” for easier clean-up. DYNA-PURGE® C by Dyna-Purge is a clear, non-abrasive, non-chemical engineered thermoplastic purging compound, formulated to purge high clarity resins. A proprietary additive expands allowing for the purge to reach and clean all areas of the machine. The carrier matrix then flushes away the previous resin and other impurities, eliminating any “milky drag” or residue. It is a safe, non-hazardous, easy to use product that is excellent for transition to clear or transparent resin, preventative machine maintenance, and before manual cleaning. Also excellent for purging through hot runner systems, dies, or other downstream equipment and it is also effective through a wide temperature range (193°C-310°C). Thoroughly loosens carbonized and degraded resin, allowing it to be flushed out of the system and doesn’t require any process adjustment as it can be used at the resident resin processing temperature and RPM speed. It is suitable for PET, GPPS, PC, SAN, PMMA as well as other clear and transparent resins. It is processed by injection molding–cold and hot runners, extrusion–profile, cast film, sheet, compounding and blow molding. DYNA-PURGE® C complies with FDA CFR Title 21, Part 177, REACH and WEEE / RoHS.
DYNA-PURGE® M by Dyna-Purge (Shuman Plastics) is a non-abrasive, non-chemical engineered thermoplastic purging compound, formulated to flow naturally through the barrel and screw of the injection molding machine (cold runners), as well as extrusion equipment. Two non-melting but softening thermoplastic ingredients scrub, while an exclusive proprietary additive helps to remove any contamination without leaving a residue. Offers non-melting but softening thermoplastic (which thoroughly loosens carbonized and degraded resin, allowing it to be flushed out of the system), effective through a temperature range of 350° F - 600° F (177° C - 315° C), easy to use (no mixing required), safe, non-hazardous, heat stable (recommended during shutdown and start-up), low “cost-per-purge”- only small quantity needed to be effective and unlimited shelf life. Optimized for screw and barrel cleaning.
