About Danimer Scientific

Danimer Scientific, founded in 2004 and headquartered in Bainbridge, Georgia, specializes in bioplastics. The company creates bioplastic feedstock from canola oil, enabling global brands to use environmentally responsible materials in everyday products, while producing commercial-grade PHA using world-class production systems. This scalable, durable, and cost-effective material reduces dependence on non-renewable resources, supporting sustainability in manufacturing. Danimer Scientific has made significant contributions to sustainable plastics with its innovative biodegradable polymers, including PHA (Polyhydroxyalkanoate). These polymers are widely used in applications such as food packaging, disposable products, and agricultural films, addressing the global plastic waste crisis. By offering eco-friendly alternatives that do not persist in the environment, Danimer Scientific is driving the shift toward more responsible materials and practices.
