PLASTRON PP-GF50-02 by Daicel is a polypropylene (PP) resin reinforced with 50% long glass fiber. Exhibits highest flexural modulus than any thermoplastic compounds, high rigidity and dart impact resistance. Provides both high stiffness at high temperature and toughness at very low temperature simultaneously with no trade off, enabling more possible metal replacement. Possesses impact strength (even at low temperature) 3-5 times more than that of the short fiber compound, high stiffness, excellent long term creep performance even at high temperature and stable mechanical performance from low to high temperature. Offers improved dimensional stability, low warpage (when molding), low wear and CLTE. PLASTRON PP-GF50-02 can be processed by injection molding. It is suitable for construction applications, sporting goods, automotive parts and industrial applications. PLASTRON PA 6-GF60-01 by Daicel is a high performance (UL94 HB) polyamide PA 6 grade reinforced with 60 % long glass fibers. Possesses high impact strength, rigidity and low warpage. Exhibits strong resistance against falling dart impact and thermal expansion. These properties of PLASTRON PA 6-GF60-01 allow replacement of metals or FRPs.
