PLASTRON PP-CF40-11 by Daicel is a polypropylene (PP) resin reinforced with 40% long aramid fiber. Possesses highest flexural modulus than any thermoplastic compounds, high rigidity and dart impact resistance. Provides both high stiffness at high temperature and toughness at very low temperature simultaneously with no trade off, enabling more possible metal replacement. Exhibits impact strength (even at low temperature) 3-5 times more than that of the short fiber compound, high stiffness, excellent long term creep performance even at high temperature and stable mechanical performance from low to high temperature. Offers improved dimensional stability, low warpage (when molding), low wear and CLTE. It can be processed by injection molding. PLASTRON PP-CF40-11 is used in construction applications, sporting goods, automotive parts and industrial applications.
