It exhibits good long-term hoop strength, UV stabilizer for outdoor storage life and outstanding resistance to slow-crack growth. It is used energy piping systems, oil field pipe and industrial pipe. Marlex® HHM TR-418Q Polyethylene by Chevron Phillips Chemical meets ASTM D4976-PE 225, NSF 3rd party D2513 certified, ASTM D3350, cell Class PE234373E and PE234375E, PPI designations PE 2708 and PE 80 and CSA approved for natural gas specifications when blended with an approved yellow concentrate. Marlex® HXB TR-494 Polyethylene by Chevron Phillips Chemical is a high density polyethylene (HDPE) hexene copolymer grade. It possesses broad molecular weight distribution and extra-high molecular weight. This grade exhibits melt strength, pipe stiffness and impact-, creep-, chemical and slow crack growth resistance. It is processed by corrugated pipe extrusion. It is used in roadway culverts, storm sewers, conduit/ducts and land drainage. Marlex® 9659 Polyethylene is used in food packaging, co-extrusions, overwraps, deli wrap and moisture barrier films. It is FDA approved.

Marlex® by Chevron Phillips Chemical is a wide range of polyethylene grades derived from ethylene monomer and comonomer (hexene). It may contain other additives to modify its physical properties.
