Marlex® by Chevron Phillips Chemical is a wide range of polyethylene grades derived from ethylene monomer and comonomer (hexene). It may contain other additives to modify its physical properties. These grades are solid at room temperature while at higher temperatures (240°F), they can be melted and extruded into film, sheet, and pipe, or as a coating onto various substrates.

Marlex® HHM TR-418Q Polyethylene by Chevron Phillips Chemical meets ASTM D4976-PE 225, NSF 3rd party D2513 certified, ASTM D3350, cell Class PE234373E and PE234375E, PPI designations PE 2708 and PE 80 and CSA approved for natural gas specifications when blended with an approved yellow concentrate.

It is processed by corrugated pipe extrusion. It is used in roadway culverts, storm sewers, conduit/ducts and land drainage.
